1635934 - Canceling a filter search and selecting another email often makes it go back to the email that was selected with the filter

Description

For a more complete explanation:

When user

1. Use the quick filter bar to filter and search some emails
2. Select one of those emails to read/reply/whatever
3. Finished what he needed to do with it and therefore clear the quick filter input (click the cross), so that the list go back to the whole emails
4. Select another email.
5. Considering, there's a huge number of emails and that in can result in little slowness somewhere in Thunderbird I guess, Thunderbird will then go back to select the email that was selected in the filtered view from point 2 & 3, also moving scrolling bars accordingly.

This shouldn't happen.

Issue is with Thunderbird 68.7.0 but is definitely not new. Reproduced on ArchLinux, was not able to reproduce it on my work mac, but this one only have one email address and much much less emails.
