Details

Steps to reproduce: 1. Quickly press Ctrl+N,Ctrl+L. Result: the address bar visibly gets focus, but a tenth of a second later, the page gets focused. See also bug 37867 and bug 164323, which might depend on bug 55015, bug 49141, bug 125282, and this bug (which are all necessary for Ctrl+N,Ctrl+L to work well).

ryan, do you see this bug?
I don't even really understand what the bug is here.
Ryan, it presumes one has set a home page (not blank). I guess the point is if the page is loading and one presses ctrl+L then the page shouldn't get focus again either while it's loading or when it's done. Do you agree? Might be a non-issue given that several of the bugs in comment 0 were marked wontfix. The only one with any life is bug 125282.
I guess that explaination makes sense. However, Jesse is still active around here. Jesse, is this fixed in your opinion?
still see this FF trunk and SM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008020803 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre can only see the "flash" in the URL bar about 20% of the time. but loss of URL focus after quick ctrl+L is >50% sounds same as bug 125282.
