Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install the Snippets add-on (requires Thunderbird 77 beta 3 or newer): https://github.com/aecreations/snippets
  2. Open a new message composer window. Locate the "Snippets" button on the composer toolbar and click it to open the Snippets extension page in a popup window
  3. Try to close the popup window by pressing CTRL+W (Command+W on macOS)

Actual results:

The popup window stays open. Also, the extension page is replaced by what appears to be a miniature view of the Thunderbird main window, with mail folders in the left pane. User needs to press CTRL+W again to fully close the popup window.

Expected results:

In step 3, the popup window should close.
