User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0
Steps to reproduce:
Closing other tabs is something I do on a regular basis and hate to see that this function is hidden in the latest version 78.0.1 in a submenu called "Close several tabs" (or similar. I have a different language set)
Actual results:
I cannot right click on a tab > Close other tabs anymore but there is an annoying additional menu level click on tab > Close several tabs > Close other tabs.
Expected results:
"Close other tabs" should again be a top-level option in the right-click / context-menu of the tabs.
Also there is an option close tabs right of this one. There should be an option to close tabs left of this one as well.

My understanding is that Jared and UX considered this extensively (see bug 887515 comment 50 and 52), and decided to stick with the current decision. There's a support article about this and the motivations (cf. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/changes-tab-context-menu-firefox-78 ), and there are add-ons available that put these items back into the main context menu for users that want that.
As a result, I think this bug should be wontfixed, given there's been an explicit UX decision not to change this.
