The following interfaces should be supported when the paired media-session implementations are ready:

A case for using seeking in the current track:

  1. Install kdeconnect on both the desktop PC and mobile device (kdeconnect supports media control over MPRIS)
  2. Open Firefox and play a film/video on a big screen
  3. Go sit on a sofa far from the desktop PC
  4. Use the mobile device with kdeconnect as a control device to seek the video backward and forward without leaving the sofa.

Chromium already supports that, in case that helps.
