With the removal of the legacy configuration from the search service (bug 1619926) we are also removing the distribution directory set-up for search engines.
Thunderbird needs to also remove the directory provider, otherwise it'll fail to build once bug 1619926 lands.
The nice thing is, the only item in the directory provider is the search distribution directory set-up, so we can remove all of that code.
