Some mail servers (e.g. Microsoft's Outlook365 in some configurations) do not relay encrypted messages directly, but rather wrap them in an outer message, so that the encrypted message itself is in an attachment.
What this means is that:
- We don't enjoy the decrpytion of the message subject, so the message list in the 3-pane window keeps the "..." for such messages.
- To read the message, we always have to open one message, then navigate to the attachment pane, then open an attachment, which also opens another window.
This is annoying...
Instead, I would like for TB to be able to detect such cases - where the outside message has only a "..." subject, an empty body and attachments corresponding to an encrypted message - and handle the appropriately: Decrypt the attachment; set the decrypted subject on the message's line in the 3-pane window, and when the message is selected for display - show the decrypted attachment, not the empty body (with or without notification that this happened).
Note: I don't mind this behavior being available only via a preference only. I'd say it's reasonable to have it on by default, by off by default is something too.

I believe this is wontfix. It's not really possible to support sub parts directly without getting into the EFAIL scenarios.
