Steps to reproduce:

I have been unable to log in on some websites.

Actual results:

Checking the console: Request to access cookie or storage on “https://stats.g.doubleclick.net/j/collect (snip)” was blocked because it came from a tracker and content blocking is enabled.

Searching about:preferences for "content blocking" yields nothing. Searching for "blocking"... shows something about tracking protection, but I can't see all the options.

I can't page down to check the options due to bug 1610084.

I can't scroll there due to bug 1658601.

Expected results:

Search should work.

And login also fails due to SameSite. Not show how to diagnose those errors.

So it sounds like there are multiple issues, all on top of each other here.

The first is that it appears that Tracking Protection is preventing the reporter from logging into some sites. I wonder if twisniewki's WebCompat shimming work in bug 1648863 will help with this. MarjaE, are you willing to share with us the list of sites you couldn't log into? If so, perhaps we can file those as new bugs for adding capabilities to our WebCompat shimming layer.

Secondly, it seems like it'd be advantageous to have additional search strings match various sections of about:preferences, even if those strings aren't included in the UI. I'm going to transmute this bug into adding such a capability.

Note that even disabling tracking protection, the site fails, probably due to samesite issues.
