Expected results:
Thunderbird has recently added the option to assign colors to folders. I would like to see this color also reflected in the email list so that I can see in which folder (account) the emails in the list are, respectively. There should be an option to color row (email) in the email list according to the color assigned to the folder. Previously, this feature was provided by the addon Account Colors, whose development has been discontinued.
I understand that an email could be in multiple (sub-) folders, which would introduce some ambiguity as to which color to display the email in. However, this problem could be solved by either always choosing the color of the folder highest (or lowest) in the hierarchy.
I believe that this feature would be of great benefit to many TB users that need to keep track of many accounts.
