win2k build 20020907.. and Mozilla 1.0 1) Use a news server with authorization 2) Subscripe a new group 3) You get the headers because you are already logged in from another Newsgroup on the same server (stored Password/username) 4) wait until the server forgets your login (timeout) 5) select properties/Offline/Download now for the new newsgroup. 6) You get an Auth dialog 7) select cancel because you want to read the Accountinformation in a stored pop3 mail. 8) you get the Auth dialog again for the next Message 9) -> step 7) (until you canceled all messages in this newsgroup) 10) buy a new mouse because the mouse switch is dead after 3000 clicking I can provide an Account for testing (mail to the developer)

MozillaAS v1.0.x is not supported anymore. Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ? (or Thunderbird v2.0.0.14 ?)
