Click on the "Chimera"a link. The page open in a new window. Now hit
command-L. The location sheet slides down over the beebo page, not the new
page. (A similar problem occurs on other sites that pop up windows.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on the "Chimera" link--the page opens in a new window.
2. Hit Command-L--the location sheet slides down over the beebo page.

Actual Results:
The location sheet slides down over the beebo page, not the new page.

Expected Results:
The location sheet should've slid down over the new page.

I'm using a text-only button bar; if the default "icon & text" is used,
Command-L "jumps back" to the location widget in the original page.
Confirmed using Chimera/2002090913 on 10.1.5, though instead of a sheet, when I
press command+l the beebo.org window's URL Bar is focused.

Whenever the Location sheet appears in on the wrong window, any bookmark that is
selected in the same situation will be opened in the wrong window as well. To
reproduce this just follow Michael's instructions and select a bookmark instead
of issuing the 'Open Location' command.

This can replace the contents (and possibly halfway-filled forms) of a window
that you didn't want/expect to be replaced.

Not just the locatioon sheet appears in the wrong window. But if I use the "text
and icon" setting on the toolbar (where the location textfield can be
displayed), sometimes when clicking on CMD-L, the focus of the location bar is
also incorrect. Sometimes the focus switches to another window's location bar,
and sometimes a new window opens and the focus is switch to the newly opened
window's location bar. Closing all the windows and open a new one usually fixes
this.

This is a quite annoying usage problem and I think that the severity should be
raised.

I've a patch for this at bug 168688, please review to see if it is the correct way to fix the
problem.
