User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a mail account.
- Receive messages.
- Change the account username.
Actual results:
If any action is taken other than clicking the X of the Account Settings after changing the username then the window freezes and must be forced closed.
Expected results:
Nothing should happen, the user should be free to change other preferences.
Debian GNU/Linux 10.7
Thunderbird 78.6.0 (64-bit) (from distro)
I've reproduced it with multiple accounts on two separate computers and have let sit frozen for 10 minutes after clicking Wait multiple times on Debian's "Not Responding" dialog.

Onno, can you reproduce?

Not Onno, but I can reproduce using my test GMail IMAP account using 78.6.0 from Thunderbird on Ubuntu.
Changed one letter in the Username under Server Settings.
Got a prompt reminding me to change my email address for the account.
Thunderbird hung and wasn't responding so I clicked Quit in the Taskbar icon.
Received the dialog in the reporters screenshot.
I can't reproduce using the Ubuntu distro build of 68.10.0 using my roommates Gmail IMAP account.
