The problem happens with/without proton.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Bookmarks Sidebar(Ctrl+B) or History Sidebar(Ctrl+H)
  2. Expand tree if need
  3. Mouse hover over tree children

Actual Results:
Status bar appears as expected at the bottom left of browser, but disappears immediately.
Hover effect flickers once.
Bookmark/History tooltips would not appear.

Expected Results:
Status bar should not disappears until mouse moves.
Tooltips should appear after a few seconds and it should not disappear until the mouse moves.

What operating system? I can't reproduce this, testing with Nightly 88.0a1 (2021-03-02) (64-bit) on Windows 10. The status bar appears and stays present.
