User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20020923 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20020923 If Mozilla is started while the Quicklaunch icon is loading up, Mozilla will begin to constantly open windows. The taskbar quickly becomes full. The only way to stop it is to end the task. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: The best time to reproduce the problem is just as Windows has displayed the desktop during startup, and the computer will be quite slow loading other applications into memory. Simply load Mozilla using the desktop shortcut before the Quicklaunch icon has appeared, the problem happens every time here. I've tested this on 3 machines. Actual Results: Mozilla seems to get trapped in an infinite loop, constantly opening new windows. Expected Results: Mozilla should have started as it normally does. I can include a screen shot if necessary.

Bug 152757 comment 1 is interesting. This one and bug 176294 may be duplicates of that one.
reporter, I am not seeing this on later builds - is this still happening for you?

From Reporter: I just tried the latest windows nightly build and I couldn't get it to do this. Seems to be fixed. -Phil
