Starting with Firefox 88 (ESR 78.10) the CDM that Widevine are providing no longer supports MacOS versions 10.9 or 10.10. Mozilla has put users of these operating systems on the ESR release. Because ESR 78.10 also uses this new CDM, users on these operating systems will not be able to watch DRM protected media without updating their operating system. Sadly we're not able to mitigate this on Mozilla's side as we do not have any control over Widevine's CDM.
It would be useful to document this. I'm unfamiliar with the process of doing so in SUMO, so please let me know if I can provide any more information to help in doing so.

Maybe we could edit the Watch DRM content on Firefox article, to add a note for =fx78, for mac users on OS X 10.9 or 10.10.
I have a revision pending review. See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-drm/history
