User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
Went to Print to a PDF and scaled the print down to fit on a single page
Actual results:
When the document was printed, either using Adobe PDF or Microsoft print to PDF (both did the same thing) the bottom of the document failed to display and was cut off although on the screen it was displayed properly.
Expected results:
The document should have printed properly as scaled as it did in release 89.
I downgrade back to version 89 and the document printed properly as scaled. I then applied bot the 90.0 update and 91.0b2 and both failed to print the document properly as described about in "What happened".

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Printing: Output' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Chocolate Brownie Pops - FoodPals (from FF V91).pdf
This is a file printed to Adobe PDF scaled to 90% but the last two lines have been cut off (see version printed with 89.0.2 which printed correctly). This one was printed with version 91 beta but the production version 90 does the same thing ie. cuts off the bottom lines.
This is the same file (page 1 printed) to Adobe PDF scaled at 90%. It print properly displaying all four lines and not cutting off the ends of the printed lines.

STR:
- Open attached html
- Ctrl+P
- Set Microsoft Print to PDF, Portrait, A4, Scale 70%
Actual results:
The bottom few lines and the right side of the page will be truncated.
There are two regressions.
#1, The bottom few lines of the page will be truncated.
#2, In addition to #1, the right of the page will be truncated.

YES.. Have reverted back to 89.0.2... A bit of a pain but quite manageable. Printing works fine in that version. After that.. Not so much.

I think bug 1717703 will fix this, mind checking Emily? Otherwise I can dig a bit more.

Just FYI... Updated to 91.0b3 (64-bit) beta.. No changes. Clipping still occurs on scaling of last line(s) and RH text when printing to a scaled PDF.

Bug 1717703 did not fix the issue in latest Nightly92.0a1(20210717093616) windows10.
This build was even worse, affecting not only the print output, but also the print preview screen.

Yes I noticed as well,
It's a weird process but if I want to print anything I have 89.0.2 on another computer and print with that one only.
Nothing prints properly from 90.0 forward.

I'm not too surprised that bug 1717703 didn't fix this, that should only have had an effect when @page{ size: ... }
was used. I can take a look into this, the solution might be similar and the code is fresh in my mind. It's also possible this was caused by (or made worse by) the other page-size changes.

Have also been following Bug 1720621 (same thing more or less as what I had reported).
Just downloaded and installed 92.0a1 (Nightly) as indicated in one of the last posts to that bug report. Indeed.. Tried Print out to a PDF scaled with two or three sites that previously with the same scaling had removed last line(s) and truncated text on the right including the one I attached to this bug ID.
With 92.0a1 build all worked perfectly, scaled and printed correctly and as expected. Will test on a few more later today but it looks like in this "Nightly) release Printing to a PDF seems to have returned to the way it was in 89.0.2.

Just so you know it appears that 92.0a1 while apparently fixing the Print bug is, in itself a bit unstable.. It's hung on me a few times now so I went back to 91b4 and am still printing using 89.0.2 on one of my other PCs BUT.. If you can do whatever you did on Nightly 92.0a1 to 91.0b5 with respect to the Print fix that would be great.

This should now be fixed in beta (91.0b5) and will be in 90.0.2 soon.

Installed 90.0.2 and still have trouble printing LA Times crossword puzzle. The puzzle previews on two pages (it is supposed to be one page) and subsequently prints on two pages. If I use Chrome it prints just fine on one page.
