Unable to print or print preview in Thunderbird 91.0b1 (Windows 64-bit), worked in prevous beta. No improvement after re-install.

Steps to reproduce:
I attempred to print a received email by right-clicking on the email "Subject" and then clicking on "Print" in the sub-menu. (this has worked in previous release and beta versions of Thunderbird). An uninstall and reinstall of Thunderbird beta 91.0b1 had no effect.
Actual results:
A Thunderbird print dialog windows opens (see attached "Print-dialog-window.jpg") with a "Preparing Preview" messaage that never clears and no preview appears. If I select "print using the system dialog", the Windows system print dialog window opens but will not print either.
Expected results:
The Thurderbird print windows should preview the e-mail to be printed, and print the e-mail on the selected printer when "Print" is selected. The Windows "system" print dialog should also work when selected from the Thunderbird print window.
