This issue is also observed in this PDF; Saving it with input information from Firefox and opening it in Adobe won't show the previously input information; The saving is not processed here since opening it in Firefox won't show the previously input information either.
This issue does not happen when savin input information from Adobe Reader.

Saving this PDF with Firefox after inputting data will incorrectly show it in Adobe Reader, show errors, and making it somewhat unusable.
There is no issue the other way around.

About FormSolicitudDerechosRGPD-PURE-XFA.pdf
:
- I can open the pdf in Acrobat Reader (free version) but I get a purple bar to warn me that data cannot be saved but I can see the values in the 2 first fields: I've no idea why I get this warning.
- no problem at all with Acrobat Pro or FoxIt.
:danibodea, could you update your acrobat version and check again if data are displayed or not ?
About 609-General-Photography-Release-2.pdf
, I can reproduce the issue and it's definitly a bug in pdf.js: I'll fix it.
About 4571aef8-c10f-47a6-9db0-34cc3bdf39bc-2.pdf
: it's in fact an acroform but data are saved in a xfa dataset. The file is encrypted and consequently, saved data are encrypted too. For any reason there is something wrong here: I can successfully open a saved pdf in pdf.js or evince but not with chrome or masterpdf or acrobat... so something is likely wrong with our way to encrypt data when saving.

My version is the latest (Adobe Acrobat Reader 21.005.20060) and I can confirm the behavior you see. This PDF is not supposed to be saved with data in it, still, it contains saved data. Most probably because I've tested saving data in it and for some reason, it failed.
I had to search for the original PDF and it appears that the data was saved with Firefox because the original does not contain any data.
This being considered, the real issue about this specific PDF might be the fact that Firefox allows saving data, while Adobe does not.
Still, the originally reported issue remains and I'm confused as to how it reproduced because I can no longer reproduce in the latest or older versions (Nightly v93.0a1 from 2021-08-18 and 2021-08-30, Beta v92.0b4, v92.0b5, v92.0b9 and v92.0RC). The data introduced using these versions can be saved and will be properly opened and displayed in Adobe.
I think it could be closed as Worksforme, but this worries me as to why did it fail in the past or how could I have gone wrong (I always double/triple check my bugs before logging them.)
