User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:92.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/92.0

Steps to reproduce:

Restrict count of unread messages shown in the unread counter badge to subscribed folders only. Maybe by implementing a preference like mail.notification.count.subscribed_only

What are subscribed folders?

I only get the count for my one POP3 and 4 IMAP accounts Inboxes.

File -> Subscribe...

See https://superuser.com/questions/61585/what-does-it-mean-to-subscribe-to-an-imap-folder and bug 1730890

Instead of using the folder subscription one probably could use the favorites folders to restrict the count of unread messages.

I did not know that menu item existed.
