So you didn't see this in 91.1.2?
Does it reproduce after Help > troubleshoot mode?

This just started happening after Thunderbird automatically updated.
It does not reproduce in Help > troubleshoot mode (I was not aware of this feature).
I don't have any add-ons or non-default feature settings (as far as I know).

Please try to disable HW acceleration (Prefs > General on bottom).

That worked. Turned off acceleration, reload Thunderbird, artifacts gone!
