1737791 - New mails no longer bold after Mac OS 12 update

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0

Steps to reproduce:

Upgrade macOS Big Sur to Monterey 12.0.1

Actual results:

Where can you reteach TB 91 on Monterey to make unread Usenet messages appear in bold?
Detto some font size settings are not as before.

The unread subjects in the overview are not bold.
In the list of NGs, those groups that contain unread posts are already in bold.
Also, in some fields the fonts are very small.

Before upgrading to Monterey this was all OK under Big Sur!
I also use chrome userChrome.css & userContent.css - how can I affect it in there.

I have the same issue on a 2020 i9 MacBook Pro. macOS is 12.0.1 and Thunderbird at 91.2.1

If I change from Italian to English Thunderbird behaves the same. No Bold new messages, just a pale blue color and a pale green dot.

Ops sorry! I misread … if I change the ENTIRE macOS system language on English Thunderbird works as expected. The origin of the problem seems to be bug 1732629 … closed on Firefox and now seems we have to wayt for it's "port" to TB.

The problems of no bold in new messages seems to be only with Light Theme. If I switch to Dark Theme I have bold.

TB 91.3.0 (64-Bit) works well now - without userChrome.css adaptation!

I can confirm that with Thunderbird 91.3.0 (64 bit) it seems all OK now (my macOS System is set up in Italian as the main language).

for me too on macOs Monterey language italian, the fonts and bolds are ok with TB 91.3
