My setting: - W2k - Mozilla 1.1, (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826), however, this enhancement request also applies to other versions/platforms (also netscape 4.x, 6.x) is affected. - Mail server: IMAP, Exchange 5.5 The current UI for selecting offline folders is sort of annoying: Each folder which one want to make available offline needs to be ticked separately. This is really time-consuming for people with large mailboxes (I have about 500 folders and I need them all accessible in both cases: on the server and offline on my notebook). Ironically, I can select more than one folder (seems to be a list with multiple selection switched on) but I can't make them avaliable offline in one go<g>. Even worse, our Exchange-mail server (or is it Mozilla?) 'forgets' about offline availability of certain (or sometimes even all) folders from time to time (every three months or so). Means that I have to repeat that stupid action every three months... This cumbersome thing has been there since at least Netscape 4.x. My wishes for enhancement: - the possibility to select several server folders (e.g., by shift-clicking or ctrl-clicking on them) to make them available for offline use in one go (similar to subscribing to IMAP folders) - or to click on collapsed root folders to make them available for offline use together with all their sub-folders - or something else that allows one to make 500+ folders availabe for offline use and that takes less than 20 secs ;-) Thanks and best regards, Thomas
confirming RFE. IMHO it would be easy to add a "select all" checkbox.

> - or to click on collapsed root folders to make them available for offline > use together with all their sub-folders This is covered by bug 79186. > - the possibility to select several server folders (e.g., by shift-clicking > or ctrl-clicking on them) to make them available for offline use in one > go (similar to subscribing to IMAP folders) This would be a nice addition to bug 79816.

if you multi-select in the offline download dialog, pressing space should toggle all the selected folders.
