Steps to reproduce:
Did Alt + f + f to compact folders in multiple accounts - including gmail.
Actual results:
Nothing happened
Expected results:
Folders should show 0 or no size ...

Sorry, no it didn't - it's now back. It seems to work only once per start. Done once - must restart to be able tot do it again !!!

Can we DUP this to Bug 1778241 ("COMPACT FOLDERS process is erratic in TB 102 Release") which I filed a short time ago? There's a lot more detail there.

After emptying a folder (in Local Folders as well as in mail accounts), using ALT+F+F (Alt-> File->Compact Folders) does free up the disk space - but ONLY ONCE !! One must exit and restart TB for it to work again - but again, only once. This has nothing to do with POP/IMAP - we are dealing with local folders (files in local file system).

After update to 102.0.2 - bar at bottom of screen says "approx. XXkb saved. But still shows size of the folder non-zero !!

102.0.3 has fixed this problem (don't know what else has been fixed.
