User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0
Steps to reproduce:
Third-party alternatives to the built-in tab manager (All Tabs button) clearly identify pinned tabs:
The built-in tab manager could also show icons next to pinned tabs to make it easier for users to spot them.
This would also make it possible to selectively hide them with userChrome.css.

Hi,
Thank you for opening this enhancement. I will set this as New and waiting for the developer's opinion about it.
Thanks for your input.

The All Tabs menu design has undergone many revisions over the years. It's not clear to me exactly when pinned tabs were readded to the list this latest time (maybe bug 776669, maybe bug 1730415, maybe something else), but it is clear that the importance of making a distinction between pinned tabs and regular tabs was once again overlooked.
Bug 626854 was marked as WONTFIX in an earlier iteration, but I think it's time to revisit the idea. I don't know if that means reopening the old bug or using this new one, but I do know that my personal preference would be to simply add a horizontal separator like the one that already exists to separate the actions from the tab list.
It appears that someone has fixed this by removing the close buttons from pinned tabs in the dropdown menu.
