I have a really bad feeling that Mozilla is not going to be dropping it's acorn design for Google's material theming. Even if it's just monet colors overlaid the regular UI, some Firefox devotees already get really, really angry at the sight of anything related to Google. So I'm not sure if management is going to go forward with this.

I would definitely love to see it as well. Material colors are great, and they add a really personal touch to the system that Firefox desperately needs. But given the way Mozilla functions, I'm not really sure it's going to happen :(
