I have an e-mail where the subject contains "gift card", and because part of the g is cut off, it looks like "qift card".

Here it depends on the setting menu -> View -> Density.
For TB102.8.0 I can confirm this for Density:Compact. Density:Normal and Density:Touch, on the other hand, look OK.
On 111.0a1 (2023-01-18) both Density:Compact and Density:Relaxed are truncated and only Density:Default is still OK.
