User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021029 Phoenix/0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021029 Phoenix/0.4 In Preferences->Advanced->Images the 'Enable Images' sub-option 'for originating Web site only' appears to ignore mouse clicks. Selection/deselection for the same item with the space-bar seems to work fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click 'Preferences'in the toolbar. 2. In the menu on the left, click the plus sign to expand 'Advanced.' 3. Click 'Images.' 4. Under General, with 'Enable images' active, click 'for the originating Web site only.' Actual Results: The check box 'blinks' but seems to fail to accept input. When clicking and holding, the check-box will be grayed-out for as long as the mouse button is held; releasing the mouse button restores the check-box to clear. Tabbing to the same option and selecting/deselecting with the space-bar appears to work fine. Once the option is selected/activated by the space-bar, mouse-click still fails to function properly. Expected Results: Mouse-click should work (for the keyboard impaired). This is with the default theme, default settings.
This has been reported several times (see bug 175803, bug 177466 and bug 177487), but they all were marked as dupe of bug 161749, which is marked as fixed (this issue has also been reported in bug 161749 comment #16). I'm confirming it for now, but maybe it'd be better to reopen bug 161749 and mark this one as dupe of it.

That bug (161749) was a genaral bug for the whole pref window. Since it's now closed, it's time to file individual bugs. This should be a valid bug.
This persists in the new Preferences rewrite. Ben can you take a look at this?
