Steps to reproduce:

I have turned on both check as you type and check before sending and nothing shows as miss-spelled.

This used to work in prior version(s)

I have used incorrect spelling to check, and nothing works.

Actual results:

NO text is highlighted in message body, or called out in the Check before you send box.

Expected results:

Text should have been highlighted, etc.
