Steps to reproduce:
- Show the "today" pane
- Change the density to "relaxed"
For the continuation it is a set of combinations, I tested with only one but it must have several possible cases - Have a font size of 12
- Have 11 tasks in the pane
Actual results:
The task part changes size constantly, a bit epileptically.

Hi Adrien,
Wfm on Beta 112.0b5 (64-bit), and Daily 113.0a1 (2023-04-05) (64-bit), Win10.
Here's Today Pane
showing Events and Tasks
with 11 tasks in the Tasks
section, relaxed density, font size 12 - no flickering occured.
I guess this will be pretty much impossible to reproduce except under the exact circumstances of the affected system. And if there's an easy workaround, maybe not worth it...?
- Potential easy workaround: Have you tried to adjust height/width using the horizontal or vertical splitters? Does that stop the flickering?
- Can you reproduce this reliably on any machine using your steps, on Beta 112.0b5 (64-bit)?
- Can you reproduce on TB 102.9.1 (64-bit), Win10?
- On affected system, what's the TB setting for

Wrt my screenshot of attachment 9327440 [details], I've filed the missing button to add a new task as bug 1826881, that's on Daily only.

I just redid in 112.0b7. In 102.9.1, I can't do it anymore, I played too much with the interface.
For the reproduction, it depends on a lot of factors (including the size of the screen for that my values were indicative). But the bug is triggered when the scroll bar appears but it's at the limit of its presence.
I have the preference 'Use hardware acceleration when available' activated. I tested without I also have the bug

Bug 1826881 and bug 1828991 might help. Probably some rendering issue caused by Mozilla platform for this specific edge case; i.e. not caused by our UI refactoring. Probably extremely rare, and easy to workaround by adjusting the size of the pane -> S4.

(In reply to Thomas D. (:thomas8) from comment #4)
Bug 1826881 and bug 1828991 might help.
Adrien, these are fixed in beta 114. Are you still seeing the issue?

I can no longer reproduce the bug, so I would say that everything is fine now.
