Steps to reproduce:

I want Thunderbird to use Apple Contacts directly on my computer. I have allowed Thunderbird Preferences to use local address books and Apple Contacts after sending an email.
In System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy window there is not Thunderbird listed and I do not know how to get it in there.
I have 10.14 Mojave with the latest Thunderbird.

Actual results:

When creating a new email, contacts from Apple contacts are not filled into the addressee window.

Expected results:

When creating a new email, contacts from Apple contacts should be filled into the addressee window.
When googling the issue, it seems that several other people have the same problem. I also tried CardBook, but it does not do the trick.

It would be great to have a simple description of steps how to make this work.
