User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/111.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Click the email Star does not mark the Star, as in change the colour and vice versa.
Using Right click/Mark/Add Star does work and vice versa.
Actual results:
The email does not become marked with a Star.
If it has got a Star, clicking it does not 'un-star' it.
Expected results:
Email Star should mark/highlight and vice versa.
I think this was a previous bug which was fixed in an earlier version.

Working on Daily. Try 113beta. Might have been bug 1826999.

Hi Magnus,
If I understand correctly, I have to download the 113 beta and (after backing up my profile) install it over the existing profile.
On checking the Profile folder, I only have one profile, called "jbyxvemd.default-beta"
What I would like to do is have a stable version of Thunderbird also running. (I have POP, not IMAP)
I have looked at the various help articles
https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/download/beta/
https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/download/beta/#howto
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_restoring-a-profile-backup
To be frank, they are numerous and bewildering.
Can you give me any pointers or let me know which of the above pages I should try and follow?
Thanks,
Jonathon

Hi Magnus,

No, if you already have beta installed, newer versions will be offered if you do Help > About
On checking the Profile folder, I only have one profile, called "jbyxvemd.default-beta"

Since you are already running beta and have a beta profile, you must adjust https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager to running release alongside beta. In other words, install release from https://www.thunderbird.net/ - on first run it will create a release profile for you. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/dedicated-profile-thunderbird-installation ensures that when you start beta that it will use the beta profile, when you start release it will use the release profile.

Fixed in 113.0b1. Should be a dupe of bug #1824555
