From killercontact1.7.4.0@gmail.com:
With Nightly "114.0a1 (Build #2015944675), 10dbca6e93+
GV: 114.0a1-20230413152644
AS: 97.4.1"
- Scrolling mistakenly triggers PTR (pull to refresh), mostly when scrolling fast and abruptly
- The PTR icon sometimes stays stuck on the screen in the case above, need to refresh to disappear
- Scrolling sometimes only does something to the address bar, the content itself is not scrolled
- Scrolling is stuck, stutters, combined with problems above.
Under load, with complex pages, and during stuttering, the problems worsen considerably.
Hope this bring into vision the common problems with the current implementation. If these issues are already reported and being worked on, please disregard. Thank you for your efforts.

killercontact1.7.4.0@gmail.com, do the scrolling issues persist even if you have the Pull to Refresh feature turned off in Firefox Settings (in the "Customize" section)?

This is probably a dup of bug 1817330.

Hello, thank you for your interest. Yes, the issues disappear. The PTR feature affects the scrolling as well. This is on a Samsung phone running OneUI 5.1 and Android 13. I cannot do much more, this is what I noticed in daily usage. Hope we can improve it.

I did not encounter this behavior lately on the recently Fenix builds: 122.0, Beta 123, nor Nightly 124.
Tested with several devices:
- Google Pixel 6 (Android 14),
- Samsung Galaxy A14 (Android 13), and
- Lenovo tablet M10 (Android 10).
Could you please, retest and provide us more details if you encounter this behavior:
- on which device?
- on which pages?
Thank you!

I'll mark this one as WORKFORME, as it has most probably been fixed with the recent work on Pull to Refresh (Meta: Bug 1807071)

Cannot replicate anymore. Sometimes, I have to scroll up twice to get the pull to refresh behaviour, but this supposed accidental scroll mechanism is acceptable.
