User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/112.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

This is a duplicate of bug 1586617 which should never have been closed.

Just to be clear:

  • Bug 1586617 has a patch and was closed four years ago to fix an issue at that time, in Thunderbird 68.2.0.
  • We do not reopen or change an old bug like bug 1586617 just because something breaks "again" in a future version.
  • Historically, macOS AB functionality breaks every couple years because of something Apple changes. Hence, bug 1720257.
  • When you filed this bug report with the bug summary you provided, you should have seen 1720257 should have been listed in "Possible Duplicates". (It listed it for me). If you were running 102.10.0** or earlier, then 1720257 has your fix. **In the future please state your full version number in the bug report.
