We need to create a default static array of colors for the special folder types (inbox, sent, etc) and use that to restore and show the default color inside the folder properties dialog.

Cannot reproduce on MacOS, may only be a Windows issue. Will try to reproduce on Windows machine.

I can confirm this works on Windows, most likely it was fixed by bug 1830830.
