User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/116.0
Steps to reproduce:
Close a window
An already open window is now in focus
Cmd+Shift+T
Actual results:
Recently closed window reopens, not the last closed tab on the current window
Expected results:
Last closed tab on the current window should have reopened
Looks like a regression from https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1833416

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Cocoa' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for filing, amelia. This was an intentional change as opposed to an unintentional regression. See bug 1833416.
Is there any chance of changing it back? This really breaks workflow for me switching it to be the way worse "undo everything" model instead of actually understanding that tabs and windows are different.

I'm afraid at this time there is no mechanism for changing it back.

I initially linked bug 1844791 to this one because the title here ("Cmd-Shift-T reopens last closed window, not last closed tab in current window") could fit the bug. As I investigated, it was clear that there is a clear difference between the two issues: in this bug, the most recently closed thing is a window, so re-opening that is by design. In the other bug, the most recently closed thing was a tab, so re-opening a window is a surprising bug.
Because of the clear differences, I'm unlinking the bugs again.
