show unread in tray is UNchecked, still you can see the icon showing unread

Steps to reproduce:
made sure there was no unread mail by using the quick filter, then restarted TB.
Actual results:
The tray icon still shows unread mail.
Expected results:
A normal trayicon.

ps, when new mail arrives, the icon will show it but when the mail is read the icon will also stay the same as if there's unread mail. In other words, i can't get the new mail notification to go away. I did not try rebooting yet. :( To me this is a major bug.
Isn't that your bug 1843837 which is a dupe of bug 1843734?
