Steps to reproduce:

  1. Receive an email

Actual results:

  1. Click on the email email is automatically marked as read

  2. a) Folder (account name / email) is still blue (unread)

  3. b) Thunderbird toolbar icon (Windows) still displays a red '1' (unread messages)

  4. Click on any other line in the folder pane than 'Inbox' and click on Inbox again.

  5. Folder is now considered 'read'

Expected results:

  1. Receive an email
  2. Click on the email email is automatically marked as read
  3. a) Folder (account name / email) is black (no new messages)
  4. b) Thunderbird toolbar icon (Windows) doesn't display a red counter (unread messages)
