RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1842493

People

(Reporter: parkibssc, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

Prompted to upgrade TB 102.12.0 to 102.12.1. Downloaded installer and applied - to find I had inadvertently upgraded to TB 115.0.1! Unable to roll back to previous release. Forced to deal with undesirable User Interface changes.

Actual results:

When viewing a message (email) the Delete, Reply, Forward buttons (amongst others) are no longer available in the Toolbar. Having to use the buttons to the right of the Message Panel requires substantially more (inconvenient) cursor navigation, especially when using the Toolbar Buttons for the remainder of mail navigation tasks.

Also, the Menu Bar is no longer at the top of the main panel - inconsistent with standard Windows design.

Also, Search area specifies CTRL+K when CTRL+F is the common keyboard shortcut for search.

Also Get Messages button in the Toolbar no longer allows individual accounts to be selected via a drop-down.

Expected results:

Please restore the interface improvements from TB 102. At the very least provide options to customise the interface, e.g. Menu Bar positioning, missing Toolbar buttons.
