Steps to reproduce:
Reproduced in a fresh Firefox install on two Pixel 6a devices as well as a Moto g power (2022).
- Open any site, e.g. the Wikipedia homepage
- Press the 3-button menu; note it behaves as expected
- Rotate the phone to landscape mode in either direction
- Press the 3-button menu; nothing happens. (On Moto g power (2022), the button displays an animation to suggest it was pressed, but the menu does not appear.)
Actual results:
On two Pixel 6a devices, there was no effect whatsoever. On a Moto g power (2022), the button displayed a "splash" animation to indicate it was pressed, but the menu does not appear.
Additional testing: in Firefox Beta (116.0b8), the 3-button menu opens when rotated to landscape, but downward instead of up. A small sliver of the top is visible (see attached screenshot) and dragging up from this tiny target can reveal a portion of the menu (New Tab, Bookmarks, History, and Downloads.) I couldn't attach a second screenshot showing this.
Expected results:
The 3-button menu should be pressable in landscape rotation, and the menu should open upward as it does in portrait mode.
