Steps to reproduce:
Ubuntu 22.04
Thunderbird
View/Sort by/Grouped by Sort
shows the emails grouped by today, yesterday last 7 days etc.
this has nothing to do with threads!
Actual results:
The sub-groupings today, yesterday etc. always close. After every opening I have to expand them manually for a boxes.
Expected results:
State should be remembered.
