RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1838589

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/117.0

Steps to reproduce:

Suppose; I am in Inbox folder and checked View/Unread on the toolbar. Listing updates itself to show only the unread and this is ok. Then when I switched to Sent folder or any other and back to Inbox listing changes to All.

Actual results:

Switching between folders clears Unread check mark and shows instead All messages.

Expected results:

Before the version 115, every folder has its own View/Unread or View/All selection status. If TB is closed this status would be saved for each folder. If, for example, I checked Unread for Inbox, All for Sent, Unread for Drafts before the exit these settings would be saved.
Only for this reason I want to switch back to previous version.

Having just adopted 115.2.2 I note that using View -> Threads in the menu bar to set Unread while viewing a folder is sticky. However then toggling View in the toolbar between All and Unread does nothing! Being able to set newsgroups and certain folders (e.g. Trash) to show only Unread, and quickly switching to All, is extremely helpful and IMO should be implemented in 115.

Thanks for the report.
