Pending leadership's decision, we need to replace the dummyLogger method in SearchSERPTelemetry.sys.mjs with the real logic for sending the ad domains, nonAd domains and SERP category to the required endpoint.

This bug should include adding the new ping, and reporting the new measurements in the new ping.

data_review_request_bug_1854692.md
PRELIMINARY NOTES:
Sorry for the delay, I'm not at my usual desk.
The category of the SERP falls into Category 3, Stored Content, providing that the categories remain broad.
DATA COLLECTION REVIEW RESPONSE:
Is there or will there be documentation that describes the schema for the ultimate data set available publicly, complete and accurate?
Yes.
Is there a control mechanism that allows the user to turn the data collection on and off?
Yes. This collection can be controlled through Firefox's Preferences.
If the request is for permanent data collection, is there someone who will monitor the data over time?
Yes, :scunnane, fx-search-telemetry@mozilla.com, and rev-data@mozilla.com is responsible.
Using the category system of data types on the Mozilla wiki, what collection type of data do the requested measurements fall under?
Category 3, Stored Content
Is the data collection request for default-on or default-off?
Default on for all channels.
Does the instrumentation include the addition of any new identifiers?
No.
Is the data collection covered by the existing Firefox privacy notice?
Yes.
Does the data collection use a third-party collection tool?
No.
Result: datareview- due to default-on collection of Category 3 data in release. Upon successful completion of Sensitive Data Review, this can be changed to datareview+

Due to significant changes to the shape of the data to be sent in the custom SERP categorization ping, we are abandoning the current bug, patches and associated sensitive data collection review in their entireties. Please see bug 1868476 instead.
