User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/118.0
Steps to reproduce:
- In Thunderbird, select Write (new message)
- blank email opens
- select Options/check spelling...
- In 'check spelling' dialog box, at Personal dictionary, select 'edit' button
Actual results:
- list of added words appears on left
- after selecting word with cursor cannot scroll up and down but can use up and down arrow to move cursor
- word list does not move
- selected word is invisible if the word cursor is off the page
- sometimes the word list view opens too far down, so the ADD/REMOVE word options are not visible, the close 'x' is not visible, the search list cannot be closed, and the page cannot be exited
- result is that correct word may not be able to be removed or may not be able to see if a word to be added is already in the personal dictionary
Expected results:
- list of added words appears
- top of edit area is always visible so can always see ADD/REMOVE of a word and can make a normal exit via the close 'x' independent of where cursor is
- cursor can scroll up and down and word list moves with the cursor so the highlighted word is always visible
