Steps to reproduce:

Hello, I suggest that the default sorting of messages, i.e. news in RSS sources, should be descending by date. Thus, as in most modern email clients, the most recent messages would be visible first.
In Thunderbird 115, the option apply column view to the entire account does not work, the cards view does not have such an option, so we had to do this sorting manually for over a hundred RSS sources.

Already fixed on trunk.
