Steps to reproduce:

In lefthand folder tree pane in main Thunderbird display, attempted to select multiple folders to perform actions such as Mark Folder Read. Clicked on first folder, held down shift key, then clicked on other folders. This has been possible in previous Thunderbird versions for many years.

Actual results:

When each subsequent folder is clicked on, only it is shown as selected, and the folders previously clicked on in the operation are no longer selected.

Expected results:

With shift held down, normally multiple folders can be selected to perform an action on all of them all at once.
