1858402 - Cards View: Update background of nested cards to be black in dark mode

In bug 1857627, backgrounds were added for the nested cards in Threads in Cards View. The --layout-baground-0 variable was used.

Not sure if we want to change that in this patch though as it has the possibility of breaking other things. This will need to be moved out of the MVP into a future update. I'm adding a note now, but I will make sure to go through and move this.
