RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1838589

Steps to reproduce:

I have a number of custom mail views configured. I have not tested this bug with all of them. One of my custom mail views is named "Not Archive" and means "messages without the Archive tag". (I have a custom tag named "Archive". Note that this has nothing whatsoever to do with Thunderbird's own notion of "archive". I archive my messages in place by tagging them with "Archive" and 99% of the time using this custom view so I will not see archived messages.) In the Inbox folder, I switch to my custom "Not Archive" view by clicking on the View toolbar button and navigating to the Custom Views submenu and then selecting "Not Archive". Then I switch to another folder, and then back to Inbox.

Actual results:

The view is now "All" which means "show all messages in the folder".

Expected results:

The view should have been "Not Archive". Thunderbird 102 (and a number of previous versions) remembers the view setting of each folder and restores it when you return to the folder. Thunderbird 115 seems to no longer remember the view setting.

Bonus bug: the View toolbar button no longer shows the current view. I have to click on it to see which View in the menu has the checkmark next to it and if it is a custom view I have to navigate through the menu to bring up the submenu to see the checkmark. This is really annoying. This worked correctly in Thunderbird 102. (Yes, technically this should be a separate bug report, but if this was the only bug I probably wouldn't have been motivated to file the bug report. The main bug described above is the killer because it means that every single time I change folders I am going to have to click on the toolbar button and navigate to the custom views submenu and choose my custom view. The main bug will probably force me to downgrade back to version 102.)

never mind, this seems to be a duplicate of bug 1838589.
