Steps to reproduce
- Start Thunderbird.
- In the folder pane, select a folder containing threaded messages.
- Right-click on the selected folder and choose "Search Messages..." to open the search dialog.
- Search threaded messages. (The search result must contain both parent and child messages of a thread.)
- Look at the search results in the search dialog.
Actual result
Search results are threaded and can't be unthreaded.
Expected result
Search results are not threaded.

Thunderbird 115.3.2 (Build ID: 20231010142850) on Windows 11

I couldn't reproduce this on the Daily 120.0a1 (Build ID: 20231012100614).
I think it looks to be fixed with the change:
