1859284 - Incorrect display of group by sort in message list

Steps to reproduce:

Set message list view ag grouped by date without threads (as seen in screenshot).
Occurs randomly when I open Thunderbird.

This behaviour was present since I installed the preview version few weeks ago on one computer (Windows 11) AND is present on another computer now that it was automatically updated to stable 115 version.

Expected results:

The headers (incidated by red box) should not be copied / duplicated. Also the first meesage should not be duplicated and shown as thread.

Windows 11 with all available updates.

This happens also sometimes (not every time) when the messgage list is visible on the screen and new message arrives. Then the message list is updated and gets messy. When I switch to other folder and then come back, the message list is refreshed and rendered properly again.

This looks like the problem being fixed in bug 1839035, maybe bug 1860322 is related as well.
