The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables add-ons, extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems.) See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
And does this also happen with a new and empty profile? See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile

Hi Andre,
Thank you for your prompt response.
I can reproduce the problem in both Troubleshoot mode and with a new profile.
In short, I am able to reproduce the issue with the following combinations,
- default profile, normal mode, press ctrl + s multiple times.
- default profile, troubleshoot mode, pres ctrl + s multiple times.
- new profile, normal mode, press ctrl + s multiple times.
- new profile, troubleshoot mode, pres ctrl + s multple times.

Please attach your about:support page. Looks like a problem with portal file dialog used by sandboxed browsers.

Some people reported that reinstalling the portal fixed it: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1851104#c0 does it works for you?
